Continuous Rest
Labour isn’t punishment but an invitation to expand on your gifts. A call for community and service, the art of togetherness that helps everyone feel less lonely on the journey ahead.
Then “the sleep of the labourer is sweet,” because rest feels fuller when you’ve honoured your purpose. Whether you receive praise for it or not, whether you get the raise or not, your slumber is sweet. You haven’t just attempted to do, you have done what you set out to accomplish. “The best is yet to come.” Your rest is set to come.
“Where are you rushing to?” my mama always asks. “You barely know where you are and have no clue where you’re going, so rest now and eat, for the journey is long.”
Enjoy the landmarks, customize each memory in your heart, cherish the ones that love you, and forgive the ones that didn’t know how to. Walk with a pep in your step as you master the art of continuous rest. Look no further for external validation, but trust the intuitive thoughts that whisper suggestions and guide you on the road ahead.
Remember, you have nothing to prove, but everything to steward over, so maintain it well. Remember, you have nothing to lose, because ownership is fiction and no one truly owns anything in this world. Choosing anxiety over peace is a foolish game, as no one is in control of anything.
Unless you can replicate the sun, you have no right to determine when it shines, and you could never dim its light. Affection is free, give plenty of it, because the world is full of quite the opposite.
Rest is not laziness. Rest is not stagnation, but an opportunity to reflect and interact with peace. Remember that rejection is sometimes just an invitation for continuous rest.

"you have nothing to prove, but everything to steward over, so maintain it well" wow 🙏🏾
So good. 💓
